The short version

We don't sell your data. We store what you save so we can show it back to you, linked to your account. That's the whole business model of this page.

What we store

  • Your account — sign-in is handled by Clerk, our authentication provider. We keep the account identifier they give us so your projects belong to you.
  • Your plans — the maps, shapes, markers, and production details (contacts, times, notes) you choose to save. They exist so you can open them again, share them, and export them.
  • Your company settings — logo, colors, and plan defaults you set for exports.

If you plan as a guest without an account, your work stays in your own browser's local storage — it never reaches our servers until you sign up and save it.

What we do with it

One thing: display it back to you and to the people you share it with. Nothing is analyzed for advertising, sold, rented, or handed to data brokers.

Sharing

A plan is private to your account until you create a share link. Anyone who has that link can view that plan (read-only) — that is the feature working as intended, so share links only with people who should see the plan. You can also export plans as PDF or JSON files; once exported, those files are in your hands.

Service providers

We run on a small set of infrastructure services that process data only to make the app work: Clerk (sign-in), Google Maps (map imagery and address search), PostHog (anonymous usage analytics — how the product is used, not who you are), and our hosting provider (servers and database). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

Deleting your data

Delete any project from your dashboard at any time — it's removed from our database. To delete your entire account and everything linked to it, email support@showplotter.com and we'll take care of it.

Changes

If our practices ever change, this page changes first and the date above moves. No silent updates.
