ShowPlotter is operated by Robota LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). These terms govern showplotter.com and the ShowPlotter application. They apply when you expressly accept them, including during account creation. The Privacy Policy explains personal-data handling; accepting these terms is not blanket consent to unrelated processing.

Planning aid, not an approval

ShowPlotter helps you draw and document a site plan. It does not approve, certify, or authorize an operation. Geofences, separation distances, NFPA 1123 fallout radii, drone counts, and other figures are planning aids based on your inputs. They are not a regulatory determination or a substitute for your judgment.

You remain responsible for the safety and legality of your operation. That includes FAA rules and required authorizations or waivers, applicable fire codes and your local authority's requirements, landowner and venue permissions, insurance, and crew competence. Verify every distance, boundary, and clearance against the governing rules and the actual site before you fly or fire. Do not represent a ShowPlotter plan as a permit or approval from us or any authority.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you act for a company or another organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it; "you" then includes that organization.

You can plan as a guest in your browser. An account provides cloud saving, sharing, and exports. Keep your contact details accurate, protect your sign-in, and give people and tools only the access they need. You are responsible for permissions you grant and authorized activity through your account. Contact us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.

Your content and sharing

You keep ownership of the plans, shapes, production details, logos, and other content you provide. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload, use, and share it, including client branding and personal information in production notes.

You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license only to store, process, display, and export that content to provide and secure ShowPlotter, and to serve it to people you give access to. We may use service providers for those purposes. This gives us no ownership or right to sell your content, use it in advertising, or train AI models on it.

Anyone holding a share link can view its plan without signing in. Share links can be forwarded, and recipients can keep copies. Treat a link as access to the plan, and use sharing controls when you need to end that access. Removing access cannot recall files or copies already obtained.

The software, interface, and ShowPlotter branding belong to us or our licensors. These terms grant a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service within its limits. They do not grant ownership or permission to copy or resell the service. Third-party map imagery and address services have their own terms.

Acceptable use

These rules cover plans, uploads, logos, names, descriptions, links, and activity by people or agents you authorize. Do not use ShowPlotter to create, store, share, promote, or facilitate:

• Illegal operations or content; fraud, scams, phishing, deceptive impersonation, or false affiliation.
• Obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit content, even where lawful; sexual exploitation; child sexual abuse material; or non-consensual intimate content, including fabricated images.
• Harassment, stalking, threats, hateful abuse, incitement to violence, or disclosure of private information without lawful authority.
• Infringement of intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights, or use of material without the necessary permissions.
• Spam, malicious code, credential theft, unauthorized access, attacks, or disruption of services and networks.
• Evasion of authentication, safety controls, quotas, payment restrictions, suspensions, or other access controls; excessive resource abuse; or unauthorized resale of access.

Do not access other people's plans without permission or misrepresent a plan's approval status. Attempts and assistance to others are covered. Supported automation and ordinary code are permitted within these rules.

Report abuse and copyright concerns to support@showplotter.com, with the affected URL or resource and a description. Do not attach illegal material. We may investigate, remove content, restrict sharing, suspend access, or terminate accounts. Urgent security or legal needs and serious abuse may require immediate action. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and you may ask us to review it. We make legally required reports; we do not promise to review every plan.

Availability and ending service

Keep your own copies of plans you need, using the available PDF and JSON exports. Guest work depends on your browser's local storage; clearing it can remove that work.

We may change features or interrupt service for maintenance, security, or circumstances outside our control. A future paid offer applies only if you separately accept its price and billing terms. If we discontinue a feature holding your saved content, we will give a reasonable opportunity to export it unless urgent legal or security requirements prevent that.

You can stop using ShowPlotter at any time, delete saved projects through the dashboard, or contact us to close your account. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these terms, a legal requirement, or discontinuation of the service. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to export available content. The Privacy Policy explains deletion and remaining records.

Warranties and liability

We work to keep ShowPlotter reliable, but to the extent allowed by law it is provided as is and as available, without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee availability, accuracy, or that content will never be lost. The operator responsibilities above apply to every plan and export.

To the extent allowed by law, Robota LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits or data, or losses arising from a show that is delayed, cancelled, denied a permit, or conducted unsafely. Our total liability relating to ShowPlotter is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent allowed by law, you will defend and indemnify Robota LLC against third-party claims arising from your unlawful or prohibited operations, content that infringes another person's rights, or material breach of these terms, except to the extent caused by us. This includes resulting damages, agreed settlements, and reasonable legal costs. We will promptly notify you and reasonably cooperate. You may not settle by admitting fault for us or imposing an obligation on us without our written agreement.

Changes and governing law

We will post revised terms with a new version date and give advance notice of material changes in the app or through your account email. The notice will state when they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept them, except where law requires further agreement. If you disagree, stop using the service and export your content before that date.

Texas law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes belong in the state or federal courts sitting in Dallas County, Texas, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Content ownership, accrued obligations, and the liability, indemnity, and governing-law provisions survive termination as needed to give them effect.
